32x32 Pixel Dwarfs

This asset pack contains two sets of four animated dwarf characters with several movement and action sets. One set is single-layered, while the other is dual-layered.

Two file versions are available for each animation. One PNG animation strip, and one Asprite file used to make it.

Single and Dual layers

          

As stated before there is a single and dual-layered version of each animation. 

This means for the single-layer version you only need to draw the animation once per frame as all aspects of it are combined.  However, you will need to swap out the character in its entirety when the player swaps something in their hand.

With the dual-layered sprite sheets, you instead draw the body as usual but then draw whichever item they are holding on top of it. meaning you only have to swap out the for-hand of the character, cutting back on the number of sprite sheets that you are juggling around at any one time.
